Importance of using multiple methods of tracking progress other than the almighty scale: same exact weight in both pictures, but noticeable change in body composition in the second picture. If I was only going by the scale, it would appear as though I'd made no progress or change to my fitness. Maybe I'm biased but I definitely feel like picture #2 looks quite a bit stronger and healthier!

Starting tomorrow I'm going to be posting my WOD (workout of the day) for 7 days straight to give an idea about what my weekly split is to ensure I hit every muscle group and get my full amount of cardio and mobility in! For me, weightlifting and running are always going to be my #1. But I've been making it a concerted effort to experiment and master other styles of working out to try to become as well rounded as possible in my fitness. I encourage everyone who wants to start exercising more, to try as many different types of workouts as possible until you find one or several that you truly enjoy. If you don't enjoy it, the chances of sticking with it are slim, and so many people think working out just "isn't for them", when in reality they just haven't found the right fit yet. When you find an exercise style that you love, it becomes something you can't wait to do, rather than something you feel like you have to do. ❀️πŸ’ͺ🏼
