The last couple weeks have been great here at Pepper Slough!! Full duck limits everyday except for 1 (not from lack of opportunity 🤷‍♂️)….even through the cold snap early in the week. We have thousands of fresh birds around and we have multiple feed options to choose from daily. Pheasant hunting has been also been great with many happy hunters. Get in touch with us to get lined up for next year to get in on some of the action!!

We are off and running here at Pepper Slough. Lots of smiles so far for the pheasant and duck hunters. We have plenty of birds around and looking forward to more great hunts!!! Get a hold of us to get in on the action!

The 2023 non-resident waterfowl applications are out!! We had a great year last year and looking forward to more of the same this fall!! With access to over 20,000 acres of private prime waterfowl hunting land, we spend a lot of time putting our hunters in the right spot to have great success. Get in touch to book a hunt this fall!! South Dakota nonresident waterfowl applications will be available to apply for online tomorrow 6/14/23 until 7/7/23. Remember it’s always best to apply as a group, you can have up to 6 per group. The areas to apply for in our area are:
NRW-00B-86 is the 10 day statewide
Or
NRW-00Y-86 is the 3 day NE units

Happy New Year everyone. A little late getting this out but a huge thank you to everyone that came and hunted with us at Pepper Slough this year. It’s was another good year overall, a little warm and dry to start off the duck season but November was very good. Get in touch with us if you want to get on some birds next fall!!!

Just spoke with the SDGF&P and the Non-Resident online application process for the Waterfowl opens on Friday June 18th. Remember to apply as a group, with a maximum of 6 per group. Good Luck
