I will be doing scheduled hive inspections for the public, under a screened tent. Most likely every half hour (11:30, 12:30, 1:30), help with all or one; help is needed moving the tent for each hive.

Same bill as last year- new bill number, new bill number being fast tracked for mandatory registration, AGAIN. NY A7568

As usual, slipped in at the last minute, during one of the busiest times of the beekeeping year.

May 25 up for vote in the Codes Committee

NYS legislative session ends June 11

Why does NYS Agriculture and Markets persist in doing this, despite such opposition? The process always seem to operate in secrecy.

Mandatory registration was repealed in 2010 by great effort of NYS beekeepers.
