What a great weekend at the Virginia Commonwealth Games at Liberty University. So proud of this team! Top Notch Running came home with 28 medals including 15 Gold, 9 Silver, and 4 Bronze in Age Groups from 17 to 74. Coach Murat Mazicioglu is amazing! Come join in on the fun at one of our workouts. 👏🏼

Runner’s Spotlight: The Making of a Champion!
Godwin freshman Berkley Nance placed 1st in the VHSL Regional 5B XC Meet (12 teams of 88 boys) on April 15, with a time of 16:08. This race qualified him to race as an individual in the Virginia State 5B XC Meet (67 boys) on April 23, where he placed 2nd with a time of 16:33. 👊🏻🔥💪🏽❤️🙌🏼

In June 2020, during quarantine, Berkley started training with Coach Murat Mazicioglu from Top Notch Running Club and attributed most of his running success to Coach Murat’s training regimen. Check out this success story! Our very own Berkley Nance had a 5K time of 16:33 and a 2nd place finish at the Virginia Cross Country State Championship. Berkley is a freshman at Mills Godwin High School, where he runs cross country track. He also trains with Coach Murat’s Top Notch Running Club.
