Congratulations to our very own alumnus Don Osmer ‘87 on being named the 2026 recipient of the Lee Clement ‘49 Outstanding Alumni Volunteer Award

We’re excited to announce Don Osmer ’87 as the recipient of the 2026 Lee Clement Outstanding Alumni Volunteer Award!

Named in honor of Leon “Lee” Clement ’49, NEC’s longtime Athletic Director, this award recognizes alumni who demonstrate exceptional volunteer service, leadership, and dedication to New England College.

Don has made a tremendous impact on the NEC community as Chair of the NEC Career Networking Committee, helping strengthen connections between alumni and students and creating opportunities for mentorship, career exploration, and professional development.

One of Don’s most meaningful contributions has been his leadership in launching NEC’s Alumni Mentoring Program. During the 2025–2026 academic year, he helped connect alumni mentors with current students, providing valuable guidance, career insight, and support as students prepare for their futures. He is now working to expand the program and build a lasting resource for generations of Pilgrims to come.

Through his time, leadership, and commitment, Don has created meaningful connections across the NEC community and demonstrated the powerful impact alumni can have on student success.

Congratulations to former New England College Men’s Rugby player Kyle Driscoll on signing a contract with the Professional Fighters League.

Driscoll has previously fought for multiple promotions, including Cage Warriors and Dana White’s Contenders Series, and holds a professional record of 14-4-0. Driscoll will make his PFL debut on Friday, August 1st at PFL World Tournament Finals: Atlantic City at Boardwalk Hall.
