This Saturday from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, TN Aeon Martial Arts will be offering FREE 5-minute introductory lessons for the community.

Choose from:
🥋 Taekwondo
🥊 Kickboxing
🌀 Nunchucks (Ages 8+)

To make it even more fun, every participant will get to break a board at the end of their session!

Sink or Swim.

Back in 2020, many businesses were forced to adapt in order to survive. When the shutdowns happened, we faced one of the biggest challenges our school had ever experienced. Martial arts has always been built on in person connection, discipline, and hands on instruction, yet suddenly we had to find a way to continue teaching without our students physically being present.

Instead of giving up, we chose to adapt. We transitioned to online classes, something unfamiliar and far from the traditional way of teaching martial arts. It was difficult, especially while still carrying the financial responsibility of rent and other expenses, but I refused to let the school sink. I kept the mindset: “We will swim and survive.”

Now, six years later, the school is still open and continuing to grow. That season tested my mental strength in ways I never expected, but it also reminded me how much martial arts is about perseverance, resilience, and continuing to move forward when times get tough.

Sometimes the greatest lessons martial arts teaches us happen outside the mats.

Construction Update 🏗️✨

We wanted to share a quick update on TN Aeon Martial Arts!

We are excited to say that the project is continuing to move forward steadily. Construction has officially begun, and we already have the cement completed along with some framing work in progress.

Seeing everything slowly come together has been an incredible feeling, and we are hoping to have the school completed around mid-July to August depending on the remaining construction timeline.

Thank you all for the patience, support, encouragement, and love you have shown us throughout this journey. It truly means so much to us, and we cannot wait to open our doors and grow with the community soon. 🙏

Here is one of our 5-year-old students performing Taeguek 2 Jang.

Poomsae (Forms) is one of the foundations of Taekwondo. It helps students develop balance, coordination, discipline, breathing control, and body awareness while improving proper technique and focus.

The lessons learned through poomsae carry over into sparring, self-defense, and everyday life. Strong basics build strong martial artists.
