We always enjoy having our Western NC Conference, United Methodist Church leadership visit during staff training! Bishop Carter shared with the staff that “If people are in a safe space, a beautiful space, then that is like the soil for them to grow.”

They’ve been trained on ropes and in the water. They’ve sat through policy sessions and mastered their campout cooking. They’ve tested out every activity Tekoa has to offer and formed indelible friendships. Now all the staff needs is some campers…
