📢📢Reminder today is tryouts! Incoming 7th & 8th graders from 3-4:30pm and incoming 6th graders from 4:30-6:00pm!

***MUST bring a sports physical dated AFTER April 15th, 2025***

What to bring/ wear:
• Water Bottle
• Gym shoes
• Hair up
• Sports Physical

Teams will be announced on by 8pm Friday May 23rd. Keep an eye out on here and your email.

🎉Reminder🎉 We have 3 open gym practices THIS WEEK for incoming 7th and 8th graders! These are not mandatory but highly recommended to attend.

**Due to county policy, incoming 6th graders (current 5th graders), are NOT able to attend ANY open gyms until the school year is out**

We am excited to announce our volleyball try-outs will be on May 21st, 2025 in the TWH gym!

3:00 - 4:30 pm upcoming 7th & 8th graders
4:30 - 6:30 pm upcoming 6th graders

**Sports physicals are required to participate for any open gyms or tryouts, MUST be dated AFTER April 15th, 2025**

If you made this year’s team there is a mandatory parent meeting at 6:00 pm tomorrow in the Hunter gym. (Please be prepared to pay team fees with a check)

Good evening! Everyone did great a tryouts today!

Due to the last minute tryouts, we had some girls that were unable to tryout today, so I’ve decided to have a makeup day for TOMORROW June 4th at 12-1pm in the Hunters gym.

Since we will have another tryout day tomorrow for those who were unable to participate today, we will be delaying posting the results of the teams.

If anyone missed tryouts today, you are welcome to participate in the makeup day tomorrow from 12-1pm.
Please remember **you MUST have a physical done past the date of April 15, 2024!**

*Parent meeting is postponed to WEDNESDAY June 5th at 6pm in the Hunter Gym*

Volleyball Tryouts 2024

T.W. Hunter is excited to introduce Karrie Wayment, our new Volleyball Coach.

Here are some words from our new coach:
Hey guys! I am so excited to join the Lady Bucs this year! A little bit about me, I am from Arizona, grew up playing school and club volleyball all through middle and high school. After high school, I went to Utah State University and played club volleyball there; sadly wasn’t able to play for the school due to an injury my senior year of high school. During the off seasons, I coached girls club volleyball ages 12-15 years old in Utah. My husband and I moved here to be closer to family, and I started coaching with C2 Attack Volleyball club. This past season, I was the head coach for the 13s girls travel team and am excited to continue coaching this age group at T.W. Hunter Middle School!

All tryouts will be held at T.W. Hunter gym.
Athletes do need a physical dated after April 15, 2024.
Monday, June 3:
*Rising 7th & 8th graders will tryout from 1-2:30.
*Rising 6th graders will tryout from 3-4:30.
