Hendersonville Country Club is looking for line cooks and culinarians for our growth in operations. A line cook is expected to uphold the Clubhouse’s mission of providing a well prepared variety of cuisines using high quality products in a warm and respectful dining atmosphere.
HCC serves a wide variety of people with different needs in both a la carte and buffet settings. Line cooks will be expected to uphold a high level of professional, as well as culinary excellence while working with a tight-knit team of Chefs, Sous Chefs, cooks and dishwashers.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain nothing but the highest culinary and professional standards with the focus on providing the members a customized experience
• Work as part of a team with other line cooks, dishwashers, servers and food runners with the common goal of creative, consistent and high quality dishes delivered to Members
• Assist with daily prep for a la carte menu
• Prep for daily specials as needed
• Prep and serve buffets and plated dinners for special events (once COVID restrictions are lifted)
• Practice food safety and sanitation standards
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
• Set up kitchen appropriately for each shift
• Learn each menu item ensuring accurate and consistent ex*****on
• Learn and adapt to needs of daily specials
• Be a responsible, reliable, and independent leader
• Reports directly to lead line cooks and\or Sous Chef
The Clubhouse is open Wednesday-Saturday for Dinner and Sunday for Brunch.
The Grill will be open 7 days a week for breakfast and lunch and open for dinner 3 nights a week beginning May 1, 2021.
HCC has created a golfers lounge with 4,000 sq feet inside and 3,000 square feet outside operation serving lunch 7 days a week.
The HCC Food Truck will provide service to Members on the green and Terrace 7 days a week, beginning in May.
This position provides a professional work environment where the back of house staff works together as a team in order to execute daily service and special events. We believe in personal development as well as culinary growth for those that are dedicated to developing their culinary ability.
We are looking to fill 3, full-time Line Cook positions. The Executive Chef will work with you to curate a schedule that allows time for school and yourself. After 3 months of employment, full time employees are eligible to receive benefits including participation in the Clubs group medical plan.
All applicants MUST HAVE RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION and a positive attitude.
