USSSA Midwest Pride 14u - McBride Midwest Pride ‘09 McBride is excited to be advancing to 14O and competing at the B/A level! Garrett has a love and passion for coaching and inspiring athletes.

Coaching Staff Basic Bio:

Garrett McBride – 15+ years coaching multiple sports from tee-ball to HS Girl’s Soccer. He brings knowledge and understanding of the game of softball. Full Bio available. Blake Bertles – 5+ years coaching softball and baseball as an assistant or head coach. Whether it was recreational or competitive travel ball, Blake developed a passion for coaching and educating young

athletes. As a self-reflective and confident leader, Bertles continues to be a student of the game and is always looking to learn and absorb new technical strategies to improve player development or innovate coaching tactics. Cassie Bollinger- 8+ years playing experience. She'll focus on SS and 2nd base along with footwork detailts of defense. While Cassie's primary focus will be on infield, she'll also be a strong female role model and mentor for the girls along their journey. Josh Taylor – 2+ years as an assistant coach. Josh brings energy and excitement as well as great knowledge of defensive skills - with a heavy focus on outfield. He has a great grasp on the mental aspect of the game, keeps the girls spirts up and helps ignite momentum swings with his infectious personality. Josh is a great communicator and relationship builder with the players and their families. 0-200mph!

And that's a wrap! Final ranking #13 out of 54 teams.

Solid, fundamental softball played the entire tournament. The team practiced hard and played tough opponents all year in preparation for this tournament, and it showed. We couldn't be more proud of the girls and their dedicated work all season long!

To all of the parents and family members - thank you for all the encouragement and support.

To all of the coaches that put in hours of their time to work with the girls, thank you.

Softball is family no matter what jersey you wear. 🥎❤️
