Navajo Longbows is a custom maker of finely crafted longbows and recurves. Bowyer Roy Hall has been in business crafting traditional bows for 20 years.

Navajo Longbows was started in 1995 from a prayer and a dream by Roy Hall. I have always been fond of archery since my youth, but was not real serious about it until I got out of college in 1975. I put together and finished a compound kit that I bought from Gibson’s Discount Center. That started my real enthusiasm for archery. I have always been a hands-on person as God has blessed me with the abi

lity to be creative with my hands. I worked in a family fiberglass business most of my life. I learned woodworking, mold-making, and fiberglass work. These skills allowed me to understand how to manufacture traditional bows on a custom-made level. Through prayer and setting out to draw out the design of the bows I wanted, I started building molds and went to work. Over the years, my designs have evolved into what they are today. God has blessed me with the talent and desire to do what I do, and still enjoy it. I strive to build the best bow possible for each customer. My aim is to please, and to build something that people can enjoy and get pleasure out of for years to come. Navajo Longbows is almost ready to start building bows again! I should have everything ready next week, and I am planning to be at the Tennessee Classic the first weekend of May(next weekend). As soon as I get back, I'll be in the shop building bows! If I can help anyone, please let me know! Hope to see you at the Tennessee Classic!!

Navajo Longbows update: the move and rebuilding my shop on my home property is coming along! The building has been dried in, and I'm getting ready for the electrical and getting it insulated. I hope to be ready to start building bows again in April! Stay tuned for more updates!!

Well, my shop has been completely dismantled at 1824 Hwy 79 S. In Henderson and is now being reconstructed at my house! I'm looking forward to getting it back to where I can start building bows again! More updates to come!

MOVING!! Navajo Longbows is in the process of moving to a new location. I have temporarily closed to move my location from town to my farm where I live. I've been looking forward to having my business near my home for a while now and it's finally happening! The pad has been built, slab should be poured next week, and building should be going up soon afterwards. I'm planning to be back building bows in March or April. If anyone is interested in bows, I'll be glad to talk to you about it. I look forward to getting back to work doing what I do---building bows!!!!

These are some vintage salesman sample hatchets that I am restoring and custom building the handles out of curly maple. I have 40 of them to do for the Combat Warriors Organization to be given away to soldiers who were wounded in Combat. They will be given away on November 7th. Each one will have their logo on the heads and custom sheaths. I have 21 heads ready, with 19 to go.

Almost ready for the Kalamazoo Traditional Archery Expo next weekend! I have 20 vintage hatchets with the heads being around 100 years old. And I have 25 custom longbows that I'll be bringing. I'll post pictures of those in a couple of days. I hope to see you there!!

Finally finished up these vintage hatchets and have them ready to take to the Kalamazoo Traditional Archery Expo the last weekend of January! I hope to have a few more ready to take. Anyone interested can pm me or see me at the show!

Just finished these up today and have 4 more to finish tomorrow. Then I'll start some more. These hatchet heads are around 100 years old, and very high quality steel. I'm planning to have a good showing at Kalamazoo Traditional Archery Expo with longbows and hatchets!

Handles are all shaped out and ready to fit the heads, then start finishing them out. These should be done by the end of the week!
