The final chapter for Milky Way Fishing Charters! The Albemarle has been sold and our final boat is now a used Grady White Sea Farer 22! Once again, the Milky Way will become a family fishing boat! We are looking forward to making memories with this one to go along with all the memories made throughout our years of fishing! Thanks to everyone who made this possible!

Part II of our last family trip on the Milky Way Albemarle on Labor Day with our son Mike and family produced another couple of buckets of perch! Our grandson, Josh is pictured with a 13 incher and granddaughter Emily showing off another nice one! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to end our fishing aboard this Milky Way than to have loaded our boat with perch on the last two outings with our daughter, Jess and twin grandchildren, Evan and Allie (posted previously) and then our son,Mike, and wife, Missy, and our grandchildren, Josh and Emily!

We wanted to officially inform our charter friends that this is the last fishing season for Milky Way Fishing Charters! After 36 years of chartering and with mixed emotions, we have decided to retire from the fishing charter business. We have made numerous friends and memories along the way and thank everyone who has come aboard the Milky Way through the years! We also wish to thank Cornell’s Marina for keeping our charter boats during the 36 years in prime running condition, the staff at Henchens/Carbone’s Waterside Marina and of all our 1st mates that have worked with us throughout the 36 years! The Milky Way will be up for sale and anyone interested in buying her, give us a text or call at 315-783-3304! And a note to any of our clients that are procrastinating about fishing this season, you had better give us a shout! Also, we would be glad to recommend other captains to any of our regular fishing clients if you need them!

An outstanding day of fishing for the Merlin Zehr party with Milky Way Fishing Charters! These fishermen took home a limit of Lakers along with 7 King Salmon!
