Coaches, Parents, Players, and Fans,

It’s hard to fathom that tonight marks the end of an incredible run. From losing our first game to battling back with five straight wins, this team showed heart, resilience, and growth each week. Tonight was meant to be a celebration, honoring our eighth graders, but unfortunately, it ended in a tough loss to a great Franklin team. Though it wasn’t the outcome we wanted, I’m incredibly proud of this team for closing the season at 5-2.

To the Coaches: Thank you for your dedication, patience, and commitment. You’ve invested so much into these young athletes, shaping their skills and character every step of the way. To the 8th Graders: You’ve led with determination and grit, setting the tone for the team with every game and practice. As you move on to the next chapter, know that you’ve left a lasting legacy on this program. We’re proud of each of you, and we’ll miss having you on the field.

To the 7th Graders: You’re now stepping up to lead, and the future is bright. Take what you’ve learned this season and build on it. Your journey is just beginning, and we’re excited to see how far you’ll go next year.

Love and Hate with Football Season Ending: There’s always a bittersweet feeling when the season ends. We love the moments, the growth, and the memories made along the way. But we’ll also miss the thrill of the game, the teamwork, and the chance to compete together each week. Football is a rollercoaster, and every season leaves us wanting more.

To the Parents and Fans: Your support has been invaluable. From the stands to the sidelines, rain or shine, you showed up and cheered us on. Thank you for being part of this journey and creating a strong community for our players to thrive in.

Huge thanks to our amazing coaches, supportive fans, and dedicated parents—your energy and commitment make all the difference. Proud of these players and the work they’re putting in. Let’s keep pushing, one game at a time!

Come out and support your VCMS football team as we battle for victory under the lights! Let’s fill the stands and show our team that we’ve got their back every play, every yard, and every touchdown!

VCMS Track & Field will have tryouts beginning on February 27th from 3:45 pm to 5:00 pm. A schedule of dates and times will be handed out to athletes. MUST Be eligible (Grades & Attendance) and have current physical to sign up (Students must have passed 3 out of 4 core classes last semester to be eligible)
