Hey There! We are looking for more members to join the Henderson Recreation Department. It isn't just ball games and concessions.... we also do two annual seasonal events - the Halloweenie Roast and the Easter Egg Hunt. If you would like to be involved but are just interested in these events, we want to hear from you! The more members we have, the better we can serve our community and the programs/events we support. Come be part of the team. Message through Facebook or talk to Joni Powers, Kasey Blase, Tiffanee Ogorzolka, Teri Pollet or drop your name with Connie at City Hall and one of us will contact you.

Hello parents and community members! We need your help this week. On Monday and Wednesday we are hosting games for the tournament and require some additional assistance from you. We have to have two people to take gate fee as well as concession volunteers. There's a rec member or two signed up for every shift. Please help us out if you can.

Hey everyone! We really need some help in the concession stand this week. We are okay for Monday night but could use some help the rest of the week. If you are a parent of a kiddo in baseball or softball and you haven't worked with us, we really need your help this week. We don't want to have to cut our services. If we don't have enough people, we may have to not serve hot food or even potentially not be open. We would hate to do that. We always have a rec department member there every shift. I will post the link to the sign up sheet later or you can scroll to our previous posts. Thank you so much for those of you who have already volunteered with us!! We appreciate it very much.

We need your help!

The Henderson ballpark is known for having excellent concessions! That is thanks to the rec department members ordering items and making sure everything is ready on game nights.

We need help from the parents of our players. There are several games that are in jeopardy of not having concessions due to lack of helpers.

If you have a 9 and under player, sign up to work the shift after the game. If you have a 13 and under player, sign up to work the first shift and then stay and watch the game. There will be at least one rec member on each shift to help supervise.

Please take a moment to sign up to help online or leave a message here and someone will reach out to help you get signed up!

Working on rescheduling a game for 13u girls. Tentatively May 29th or June 5th...
Contact the Rec Department if available. Qualifications are that you must have graduated high school and have familiarity with the rules and be able to call a ball or a strike 😁 Pay is $40 per game and a free meal from the concession stand.
