We had a blast yesterday morning in Syracuse NY! We did a videotaped PODCAST called "Crazy Real" Crazy Real with Bugge & Zogg. Jen Wilber (Bugge) has ice fished with the BSO TEAM and her husband Todd fishes with us every spring and fall...... We saw her in the WESTVIEW 2 weeks ago and she asked if we would do her podcast? Naturally we agreed!

We had a great time talking Lake Ontario history, our television programs "Rod & Reel" and "Cabin Country", the WESTVIEW LODGE and why people need to visit Henderson Harbor! We're planning an August fishing trip with these two ladies and I'm sure we will be rolling video for another BSO FISHING SEGMENT.....

It was nice to be back in the studio.... Thank you for the invite! We'll keep you posted as to when this episode can be viewed!!!! These girls are the BOMB!

The Rheinhart and Stafford gang were getting in on some Back Bay action yesterday! Short lead HUSKY 14's were getting the job done! This fish came on a "Helsinki Minnow".

We are actively booking for this type of fishing in October and November! Call us for details.....

All kinds of crazy stuff going on yesterday as the BSO TEAM took on deep water and the back bays! The MARTIN GANG finding some Lakers in deep water but that bite is subdued...... They worked it hard coming up with a handful of fish including a 22lb. Beast that was worth the price of admission. Great fish gang! They looked for Browns in the afternoon but only found some Bass and Whitefish.......

In the back bays, the Rheinhardt group saw a bit of everything...... Pike, Pickerel, Bass, Perch, White Perch and even a couple of stray BOWFIN! The BOWFIN (Dogfish) hammered the rods and put up a hell of a fight! One crushed the. WEIGHT ROD at just 40ft..."it was like a KING strike!"

It poured but conditions were favorable..... The wind can stop at any time! This season has had its share of tough conditions and we've had to earn everything we get. If it gets stable during the HOT ZONE 🔥, the fish won't stand a chance....

Working both ends of the spectrum this morning! Capt. B3 and Raffy in the back bays while Capt. RP and Jody are working deep water! Here is a 22lb Laker that the Martin Gang just landed!

Any way you cut it.....these fish are WORLD CLASS! Congratulations!

These dandy Pike are still biting in the back bays. This fish took a HUSKY 14 just 30ft behind the board. These fish are coming up out of the weeds to attack the baits!

Some great fish from the Fall of 2025' The October and November calendar is starting to fill...... This is absolutely one of our favorite times of year to fish! The Eastern Basin is peaceful..... the crowds are gone, life slows down again, we have the lake to ourselves, and big fish are biting!!!!

Fall fishing is like spending a weekend at hunting camp!!! Great camaraderie, venison & smoked salmon snacks, serene back bays shrouded in the robust colors of Fall and lightly chilled mornings followed by INDIAN SUMMER afternoons!
