LVC Team Bad Ass had probably the most productive workday ever!
We installed pink PVC markers to help identify the short O.B. Rock Wall on INN 11 that connects the drainage channel O,B, to the cart path O.B. (See image 2.)
We installed a new "short" tee pad for INN 15 (was INN 16 in 2025). The shorter tee pad will be used by the A/Club Pool (MPO, MP40, MP50, and MA1 divisions). The distance is about 828' (60' shorter than the long position) and will be a Par 4. (The 888' tee pad was too easy as a Par 5 and too hard as a Par 4 for the A/Club Pool, so a slightly shorter tee pad should resolve this "Par 4.5" issue. The B/Diamond Pool will continue to use the longer Par 5 tee pad.) (See image 3.) This new INN 15 short tee pad can ALSO be used as the "super short" tee pad for Wildhorse's Casual Afternoon Course, Hole 11, at 306'. (See images 4 & 5.)
We removed the INF 12 short tee pad (INF 12 in redesign for 2026 and final design TBD) and installed the new INF 13 tee pad. The new hole is 317' long and a Par 3. The basket will be blocked by a row of pine trees you carefully need to navigate under. (See images 6 & 7.) This redesign allows a better transition between INF 12, 13, & 14. (The old tee pad for INF 14 was also removed.) When playing Wildhorse's Casual Morning Course, this basket is about 30' shorter than the tournament location and plays as Hole 15.
Team Bad Ass also flipped, repacked, and cleaned up INF 18. (See images 8 & 9.)
Although not used for the LVC, a full casual short tee pad was added to Wildhorse's Casual Morning Course, Hole 18 (or MILL 18). This tee pad is about 50' closer than the longer tee pad. (See image 10.)
Finally, the basket location for INN 12 was shorted by about 60', to 390'. The 2025 460' hole design was too hard for the A/Club Pool (MPO, MP40, MP50, and MA1 divisions) as a Par 3. (See images 11 & 12.)
We have one more casual tee pad addition and a mando pole to add to Course Innova, and then all 2026 LVC significant improvements are done! (We still owe you a few pictures of basket location changes on Course Innova.)
We still have 4 new tee pads to install on Course Millennium and 5 on Course Infinite. If time allows, we still have 5 tee pads to flip and repack on Course Millennium and 6 on Course Infinite. (About 2.5 tee pads per workday.) (See image 13 for our 2026 LVC Course Improvement Plan.)
Our next workday is Sunday, February 22nd, starting at 8:30 AM. Jessica Jacquart, as usual, will be making us a tasty lunch when we are done! The crew had two different chilis to choose from last Sunday!
Thank you K.F. Headley, Pete Gargotto, Jeromy Olson, Scott Merritt, Stephan Self, James Beck, Craig King, John Raburn, Valerie Steinbaum, and Jessica Jacquart for your time on Sunday!
