Remember ky deer hunters Saturday starts gun season. When you are successful and harvest thet buck. If he's not the one you want to put mount, the cape is still worth money. I will buy any unwanted capes. Price starts at 20 and goes up. Depends on the size, age and condition. My number is 270 860 9717. I could even trade the hide for skinning and quartering. You have to bring your own cooler for meat and are responsible for disposal of unwanted carcess.
