Vance Charter family,

It has been an extremely sad week for the students, staff, and school community as we mourn the loss of dear Emma Wallace. As a student of Vance Charter from Kindergarten through 10th grade, Emma was a bright light in the halls, classrooms, and athletics at Vance Charter. Our deepest condolences go out to her parents, her sister, Laney, and her brother, Devin. As a school community we will continue to support one another in these difficult days. Emma will be remembered forever for her beautiful smile and all the joy she brought to each of us.

Her funeral service will be held at South Granville High School on Sunday, August 23rd at 2pm. Her family will receive friends at noon before her service.

We know that the VCS family will continue to support the Wallace family during these very difficult times.
