Hey Henderson, NV Friends. We don’t usually get political here, but we feel there is a measure in the upcoming election that is important to our sports community and Henderson families. It’s BALLOT MEASURE 1 and we want to make sure you are informed and get out and vote!

A YES vote on Ballot Measure 1 in the upcoming election is so important!

A quick overview:

* This is NOT a new tax. You have been and will continue to pay this tax, regardless of how you vote on this measure.

* A YES vote will keep these tax dollars allocated to Hemderson, NV. Specifically the Henderson Parks & Recreation Division.

* A NO vote will redirect these funds to Clark County

* These monies account for nearly 40% of the Henderson Parks & Rec budget - if these monies are redirected, this is devastating to this department and will impact you directly.

* All of your parks, baseball field prep & maintenance, splash pads, playgrounds, recreational centers, senior centers, safe key, tennis programs & more - these are, in part, funded by this money.
Election is June 9.
