Univ.) Boasting a multitude of batting cages, teaching stations, and practice areas in one central location, the program is sure to help your child ages 7 - 17 become a better player. The NYBA was ranked by “Baseball America” as one of the Top 5 Baseball Schools in the Country. Guest instructors from collegiate and professional ranks provide daily clinics over the course of the six weeks. Players receive an intensive supervised workout schedule that fits easily into their structured daily routine. Players are instructed by NCAA coaches and local High School coaches from the NY Metropolitan area. The daily instructional program will stress the fundamentals of hitting, throwing, fielding, base stealing, speed development and reaction training. Players will select and take part in a daily position workshop. Emphasis will be in the areas of pitching, infield and catching. Students will participate in instructional games on a daily basis. Coaching will stress defensive and offensive play with emphasis on team effort. A coach to player ratio of 1:6 ensures personal attention is given to all the participants. Hot lunch and a recreational swim period (Ages 7-12) is available during the instructional week. Players may select from one through six weeks of instruction.
