The Div. IV boys playoffs are on your Game of the Week!
2/23 Boys Sectional Final: 14 Glenwood vs. #3 Federal Hocking @ Wellston 6:15 pm
Boys Sectional Final: #12 Miller vs. #5 Trimble @ Logan 8 pm
The Lancers start the quest back to the Regional tournament against Glenwood after they beat Green. Federal Hocking has won 3 straight and 8 of the last 9, on the backs of their 2 senior stars. Andrew Airhart is coming off his record setting performance last Friday and don't think Tariq Cotrrill won't try to catch him. It's time for the young guys that have improved all year to show what they've got when it matters most.
A little Route 13 rivalry for the first round as Miller looks to upset the Tomcats. The Falcons had a tough year, still adjusting to the new Mid-State Conference, but come in winners of 3 straight. they can't let the 2 previous loses to Trimble scare them. The Senior heavy Tomcats want just that though, for people to be scared. A #5 seed and a nice path to a possible District Final. Trimble is poised for a deep run.
Both Games will be on WSEO 107.7. Dustin Goldsberry & Isaiah Lyle have the call in Wellston. Joe Higgins & Ryan Marks will pick up the action in Logan when the first game is over.
