Had an INCREDIBLE netting this afternoon! Federally banded and released another 54 woodies. (Caught and released about 75 but had a good many recaptures)

I had high hopes for hitting the 300 mark this summer and we hit it this evening with a total of 316 in just 3 summers! Hopefully next year we can add more.

We are proud to be able to work closely with South Carolina Department of Natural Resources for research and conservation!

Another successful duck banding this afternoon! Rocket malfunction had us catching half of what should've been caught but still a win!
40 netted, 28 new Federal bands with 12 recaptures, bringing our 3 year total to 268.
Glad to work closely with South Carolina Department of Natural Resources and having the kids involved is just an added bonus!

Blessed and honored to be able to work alongside South Carolina Department of Natural Resources to net, Federally band and release wood ducks. Banded 57 yesterday afternoon, with one recapture from a duck we banded in 2025!

Our third summer, have banded 240 so far and pray we can continue raising that number!
Special thanks to our friends and volunteers that came to help make sure no ducks were harmed. Even able to have our friends from the YCC U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Waccamaw National Wildlife Refuge join us once again!

Driest growing season I can remember. Seems lately a protective dome around us that either breaks up or splits the systems headed our way! So incredibly blessed and thankful for the little moisture we have had. Praying for a good, solid finishing rain for our corn, and several days more for our friends and neighbors and for the wildlife! We all desperately need it! 🙏

2 weeks, nitrogen hit today and now some extra w**d control; with very warm, corn growing temps coming!
