Even with a super dry summer, our hundreds of sawtooth oaks are LOADED and just now beginning to turn lose of a few acorns!
The next 3 weeks they will be hot spots!

Our friend Mr. Frank (SC) was setup and ready to make a 135 yard shot. When multiple hogs came in at 40 yards a quick adjustment had to be made!
Looks like he did just fine.

What a blessed r***e opener!

Joshua (SC) took his first buck ever with this beautiful full velvet 8 point. Before that, our new friend Noah (RI) dropped this unique 9 point (backwoods 10 point) early in his hunt.

We sadly lost our beloved Dixie this morning due to issues from birthing litter. We appreciate all your prayers and support. Alot of you grew to love her as we did.
Rest easy old girl. We pray we will have you at our side again one day!

Always amazes me how whitetail bucks' mentality changes within a day or two of shedding velvet. For a brief time, they actually grow a few brain cells.....until that time all deer hunters look forward to; when the bucks lose their minds once again!

This 5 week old male will be ready for new home Sept. 4th! Dewormed, first shots and AKC litter information. He has been an amazing companion already and eager to learn!
