As a dedicated, fully volunteer-run nonprofit, we make equine interactions and the wellness they bring accessible and enjoyable for everyone in our community. With the help of our four senior therapy horses, we foster community connection and promote wellness through engaging and inclusive events. Our programs also aim to increase awareness of the human-animal bond, building empathy and care for animals. Join us in our mission to create a healthier, more connected community.

We're putting the finishing touches on tomorrow's Coffee with Horses, and we couldn't wait to share a little preview!

A huge THANK YOU to our Thursday Night Lessons Team and our Friday Morning Decorations Team for pouring so much creativity, time, and heart into making the ranch look festive and welcoming. From handmade decorations to patriotic touches throughout the ranch, every detail reflects the dedication of volunteers who love serving both our horses and our community.

It's amazing what can happen when people come together with willing hands and generous hearts. We are so grateful for each volunteer who helped bring this vision to life.

Looking for a meaningful way to give back, meet amazing people, and spend time with some pretty incredible horses? We'd love to meet you! 💛

Join us for our Volunteer Orientation on Saturday, June 27 at 10:30 AM. ☕ Come early and enjoy Coffee with Horses from 8:30–10:30 AM before orientation begins!

At T.H.E. Center, our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Whether you love working with animals, helping at community events, gardening, photography, social media, fundraising, organizing projects, or simply lending a helping hand, there is a place for you here. ✨

No horse experience is required! We believe everyone brings unique talents, skills, and gifts that help make our ranch a welcoming place for the entire community.

During orientation, you'll:

Today was all about Bailey. 🐴❤️

Bailey is one of the shyest horses at T.H.E. Center. For a long time, she preferred to keep her distance, watching from afar and deciding for herself when she was ready to connect.

Lately, something beautiful has been happening.

With patience, consistency, and gentle encouragement from our lesson team, Bailey has begun seeking out what she once avoided—human connection. Today there was no halter, no expectations, and no agenda. Just Bailey choosing to come forward for pets, scratches, and quiet moments together.

As we stood with her, we were reminded that horses teach us some of life's most valuable lessons. They don't rush relationships. They don't force trust. They teach us to slow down, be present, listen without words, and celebrate the smallest steps forward.

Bailey's journey reminds us that growth doesn't always happen in big, dramatic moments. Sometimes it looks like a shy little horse deciding that a gentle scratch behind the ears feels pretty good.

Today, Bailey helped us practice patience, mindfulness, and gratitude for being exactly where we were in that moment.

And honestly, we think she enjoyed the scratches too. 💕🐴

Get ready for three mornings of animals, adventure, friendship, and unforgettable memories! 🌿✨

From caring for horses and meeting our farm animals to games, crafts, outdoor exploration, and team-building activities, Summer Camp at T.H.E. Center is all about helping kids learn, grow, build confidence, and have FUN while making new friends along the way. 💚

We are so excited to welcome campers back to the ranch for a summer filled with laughter, learning, and hands-on animal experiences. After all, there's nothing quite like spending summer mornings surrounded by horses, fresh air, and new friends. ☀️🐴

Looking for a meaningful way to spend time with the little one in your life?

Join us for Equine Encounters: Mommy & Me...a guided, hands-on horse experience designed for moms, grandmas, aunts, and other special grown-ups to learn, connect, and create memories alongside the children they love.

Participants will spend dedicated time learning about horses through interactive activities led by our T.H.E. Center volunteer team.

✨ Meet & bond with our therapy horses
✨ Learn how horses communicate
✨ Explore horse behavior and body language
✨ Participate in hands-on grooming
✨ Enjoy fun photo opportunities
