TBG Timing provides electronic Event Timing and Results for all types of racing. Send us an email if you have any questions about what we can do for you.

TBG Timing is a ground up operation with a lot of learning along the way that has contributed to fully understanding timing methods and the processes to produce accurate timing and quick results. TBG started as the in-house timing solution for the Quick n' Dirty MTB Race Series and is slowly growing to provide timing services for other flourishing races and series. If you have ever raced a Quick n' Dirty race you know it's a well structured and fun event that captures the essence of racing. TBG will bring that Quick ' Dirty experience and enthusiasm to your race to produce the best timing experience possible. The best part is the TBG and Quick n' Dirty crew are all riders and racers so we understand both the timer and racer perspectives which drives us to work harder at ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Between Quick n' Dirty and TBG we can help you with the entire race experience from start to finish.

This was basecamp for the inaugural Tehachapi Summit Challenge put on by Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association . Friday night packet pickup, Saturday 3 Run Enduro, and Sunday XC with final results for two combined stages for the All Mountain Challenge. For Enduro we had 3 starting locations handled by a remote app on cellphones and the finish for Run 1 & 2 via Starlink with a live camera feed back to Basecamp. Finish for Run 3 was at the venue. Besides the heat, wind, and dusty conditions it was a good weekend. Thank you to Tehachapi Mountain Trails Association for trusting us with your event! They even included us on their shirt 👊🏽

Once again, no pictures! It was a rather blustery day at the 2026 Mammoth Gran Fondo . TBG handled packet pickup/registration, timing, results, and sound reinforcement for a happy group of Fondo riders. The wind won a few battles and claimed a TV ☠️, also knocked over a speaker and a camera (those survived), but I think we won the war. Thank you to MMCF for trusting us with your event. Hope to see everyone in 2027!

Mazda Quick n Dirty mtb 2026 Summer Series is DONE!

Race 8 is always an action packed grind for me. Making sure everything for the race at hand is squared away by answering questions, correcting mistakes, keeping my eyes on the race, reviewing finish line video, etc., then throwing on top making sure the Series Points are accurate and tracking so that race results and series results can be done as efficiently and accurately as possible.

It's both fun and challenging, and SurfChaserPhoto captures it perfectly. Spectacles on, and head down in every photo! 🤣

Thanks to the crew that works together to pull this Summer Series off. We are small but mighty! 👊🏽

The look of concentration (or confusion) when trying to wrangle 142 kids split between two separate Kid's races, all in roughly 45 minutes, while still trying to make sure the Main Race starts on time.

📸 Thanks to for always capturing the candid moments 👊🏽

Had a little battle to the finish line at Round #2 of the Summer Series in the School Boy 12-13 category. Damian Garcia Doten just squeaked by Beric Cantwell for P3 by sticking to the fast line down the finish chute. If you know either of these young men please tag them!

Rock Cobbler 13.0 is now a lasting memory! First off, thank you to all of the riders that came out and spent your weekend with the Cobbler crew. From my vantage point in the timing tent I saw a crowd of smiling faces. This marks the 11th Rock Cobbler for us, and we always enjoy seeing all of the familiar faces, as well as all the new ones coming to join the sufferfest and post ride party.

It was fun working with and and listening to them trade commentary as all of you finished your respective rides. Shout-out to .ames for orchestrating the madness we know as the Rock Cobbler. Cheers to the entire Bakofornia Grill Crew for feeding the masses.

Huge thank you to and Christian for helping out with check-in, you guys killed it.

Lastly! Thank you to for spending her time snapping photos around the venue and out on course, catching all the middle fingers🖕🏽. Show her some love and go grab some photos. All of the pictures in this post were taken by her 👊🏽

This is our 3rd race out of 4 race weekends in a row. Next on tap is in Bakersfield, CA.

Thanks to my longtime friend for coming and hanging out, helping with packet pickup, keeping an eye on the race, and getting all the gear torn down and packed up. 👊🏽

Once again, no good pictures!

We had a nice weekend on the beach in Santa Barbara providing packet pick-up and timing for a record turnout for the 14th Annual Ride Santa Barbara 100 . Aside from the Start/Finish for 4 separate courses, we also setup a 4G and Satellite remote timing point for the 100 Mile and 100km+Climb distances Gibralter KOM/QOM challenge. All in all, a very successful weekend!

Next up on the calendar:
- Filthy 50+ 10/25
- ChainSmoker 11l01
- Trail Run 11/08
