Good day, HSA members,

I’m just taking a moment to inform the HSA members there is still time for you to sign up for the HSA Hunters Ed safety course on Saturday, August 1st, for more information contact the Brock Williams family at [email protected].

I would like to thank the HSA members that have been coming out for the HSA Monday night work parties once a month. Our next work party is Monday, July 27th 6 PM. The Ranges will be closed during these work parties. We are always looking forward to seeing new faces at these events.

The last topic for today is there is still time to sign up for Emanuel Kapelsohn seminar on active shooting events on August 14th and August 15th. Flyers are posted on the bulletin boards. More information is available visit https://www.peregrinecorporation.com/news-events.

Come join your HSA board members on Monday, May 18
at 6 PM to participate in a light work party at your club. The Board is going to be having some periodic work parties with many simple tasks and would like the members to help join us and keep our club the very special sportsman’s club that it is.

All members will also soon be receiving your quarterly newsletter along with raffle tickets. Please try to purchase some tickets or at least sell them to someone to help HSA with their daily expenses and many upcoming club and improvements.

Enjoy the longer daylight hours and many opportunities offered in our range.

This email blast is to inform you that life member, Emanuel Kapelsohn is promoting a seminar on active shooting events. The information below will give you the times and dates and when the event will take place.

LTC (Ret.) Ed Monk is one of the country’s leading experts on Active Shooter events, training and response. His book, “The First 30 Seconds,” is a must-read on the topic. At the end of January, he will be teaching four lecture programs on this subject in Emmaus and Allentown. The classes are variously oriented toward educators, law enforcement and security officers, house of worship protective teams, and private individuals with concealed carry permits. Attendance is only $35.

Good day Hellertown Sportsmen’s members.

The Hellertown Sportsmen’s 2025 year has been very active. To continue all these activities there are general expenses that go along with these events. We need your help with buying and selling the Fall improvement raffle tickets. The raffle drawling will be at the general membership meeting on Tuesday, December 16th at 7:30 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

At the December meeting we will also be taking nominations for officers, and we have a vacancy for a position of recording secretary. If you are an active member of HSA and would like to become involved, please contact any of the officers at the membership meeting.

If you’ll be hunting this season, have fun, good luck and stay safe. I wish everyone a safe and happy new year.

Repairs on the Hellertown Sportsmen’s 25 yard outdoor pistol range have been completed. All ranges are now open again.

Please remember to sign in when shooting as well as to clean up your targets and brass after shooting.

Shoot safely and enjoy the range.

Please be advised that beginning Monday morning, August 18 the 25 yard outside Pistol Range will be closed for major necessary repairs. The closure will be until further notice.

We will also notify you once the range is opened again. Thank you for understanding.
