"This is not hyperbole when I say that the guidance that Jes has given me and the work that I continue to do with her, has been life-changing.

I started with attending in-person WOW classes twice weekly, then added a virtual asynchronous class once per week, then added two mobility virtual classes per week. I now do one in-studio WOW class a week and four 3-4 other virtual classes per week. When I’m out of town, I do 5 virtual classes per week (all asynchronous, so far). Having access to live feedback (either in the studio or virtually) is important for me to make sure that my form is correct and that I’m getting the most out of the movements that I can.

Having access to the virtual (synchronous and asynchronous) makes it possible for me to stick to my plan (5/week) with a very busy life. Additionally, I participate in various nutrition and movement “challenges” throughout the year that give me a “push” or recommitment to values, or additional education and tools that I find really, really helpful.

Jes has created a community of support, learning, health, and fun that is the best fit for me that I’ve ever found. I think that at 50 I’m the healthiest that I’ve been since I was in my late 20’s — and maybe more so because of what I’ve learned from Jes about nutrition. I honestly imagine being part of this community as long as it’s available."

At Elevate we strive to teach & coach with the spirit of constant improvement. We adapted this concept from Kaizen, the Japanese philosophy of continuous improvement.

This concept, often used to improve business operations, translates perfectly to us. Our goal is to train athletes, women & seniors into better health, longevity and performance habits.

Embracing constant improvement allows us to recognize we don’t have to be perfect. We label our ‘failures’ as learning and we welcome adversity as a path towards strength.

We love to make you sweat and teach you to eat right. The reward for all of your hard work: strength, longevity, reduced risk of injury and having tons of energy to participate in your favorite sport. Pickleball, golf, tennis, hiking, running and sand volleyball are just a few of our members favorites!

My personal obsession: sand volleyball in the winter Dragonfly Athletics! So lucky to have the ability to do this- my hard work is paying off.

It might not look like it but we are having fun over here! We keep our classes small so you get tons of feedback - even if you ignore us we still offer it until you HAVE to listen 🤣.

But seriously, knowing how to improve form and posture and prevent injury first with mobility and proper activation and second with attention to form and movement patterns during your workout can make all the difference. Check out what has to say.

There are so many reasons NOT to do a Turkey Trot and I heard almost all of them when I was trying to find a buddy to run with me this year. Thank you Autumn Howe for agreeing to run with me without putting up too much of a fight.

This years The Parade Company 10K did not disappoint. We were late to sign up, late to park, late to pick up our packets and late to the start line. Still we made it for the gun on the final wave and an energetic start.

The course follows the route of the parade with lots of holiday decorations and people getting early seats to watch the festivities. It put the holiday season into full effect. After we finished we hit the road and went to our respective family parties to cook and celebrate. It was a great way to spend holiday time with a good friend.

Another great outcome for our adult athletes. Check out some of what Alina has to say about :

❔Has the training been transformational for you? If so, how? 
❗The real transformation for me has been understanding the value of spending time on mobility and creating targets beyond lbs. lifted or calories burned. 

❔What sort of people can benefit from working with Jes/at Elevate Fitness and how can it help them?
❗I’d recommend Jes to anyone. I feel strongly that women should invest in building strength and mobility as they age.
