We have officially wrapped up our first season of mining at Sleeping Giant Lanes, and we couldn’t be more thankful.

We got to try something completely new this summer, and the response from our community was incredible. Getting to watch families and friends dig through their bags and show off some amazing finds made it all worth it.

Thank you to everyone who made this summer special, to everyone who came out, to everyone who gave it a try, to everyone who told your friends you helped make our first season such a fun one.

Keep an eye out for us again in May, and spend your Summer with us because…
Summers ROCK at Sleeping Giant Lanes. ⛏️🎳

Where we do Family. We do fun.

The wait is almost over! Here is the official Miller Masters oil pattern we’ll be putting out for this weekend’s tournament.

Want to get a look at it before the tournament? We’ll have the pattern out Friday for practice from noon to 5 PM. Lanes will have fresh oil at noon, and we’ll re-oil everything again at 2:30 PM. Practice lanes will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Come try a few different angles and get yourself ready for the weekend. We’re almost there!

🎳 ALRIGHT BOWLERS… WE’RE OFFICIALLY LESS THAN A WEEK OUT!

The 40th Annual Al Carrette’s Miller Masters is almost here, and it’s time for the final push!

First, a HUGE thank you to all of our sponsors. This year, our sponsors have added $6,000 to the Miller Masters prize fund! We couldn’t put on a tournament like this without the businesses that step up and support it year after year.

A special thank you to Gusto Distributing and Miller for helping us make Year 40 a big one! We’ll also have tournament drink specials that will run through the end of September including $3 drafts and $4 White Claws.

🚨 9:00 AM SHIFT IS FULL!
If you want on the waitlist for 9:00 AM, get ahold of me now.

We still have room in our 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM shifts, but we are getting down to it. If you’ve been thinking about bowling, now is the time to get your name in.

We’re less than a week away. The sponsors are in. $6,000 has been added to the prize fund. Now we just need the bowlers.

Let’s fill these last spots and make the 40th Annual Miller Masters one to remember! 🎳

Over the weekend we had a group of youth bowlers in and got the chance to put a reactive ball in their hands and show them a little bit about how it works. Those are the moments we really enjoy.

And then eventually it happens. Someone throws that shot they have been working toward. Maybe it is their first strike. Maybe the ball finally reacts the way they wanted it to. Watching that excitement is hard to beat.

Whether it’s learning about approach and backswing, figuring out why a ball hooks, understanding what the oil on the lane actually does, learning how the machines work, or even trying to understand the math behind bowling scoring, there is always something new to learn.

That is what our youth program is about. Learning a sport, making friends, getting better every week, and giving kids something they can be proud of.

Our Fall Youth Bowling League information is below for any families who have been thinking about giving it a try.

You don’t have to already be a bowler. We’ll help with that part.
