Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year and the shortest night of the year. A time to usher in remembrance to slow down, savor and return home to our roots. On June 21st we enter into Cancer season with a little support from the Sun, Mercury and Jupiter in Cancer as well, emphasizing the energies of joy, expansion and communication. Chiron moving into Ta**us also gives us a huge opportunity for healing of self and Mother Earth. So much to celebrate!

People all over the world celebrate the Summer Solstice in various ways because the veil is thin which allows easier access to the higher realms of consciousness. So, if you've been feeling a bit more edgy, psychic, lethargic, achy (just to name a few) these are all signs and/or symptoms of ascension. We as a collective are leveling up (if we so choose). We always have free will and are always creating our reality, right, wrong, good or bad. We choose!

When you are born during a New Moon in Libra alongside Mercury, you are given the gift of gab along with a strong desire to share thoughts, information and be heard. Being born under a New Moon basically means the sun and moon are aligned bringing emotions and your core identity into harmony. It symbolizes fresh starts, pioneers, self-starters and visionaries who can be very driven individuals. That describes me to a tee. HOWEVER, as with everything, also come the challenges with it. My default with all this drive sometimes makes me vulnerable to trusting the wrong people. And my enthusiasm to do, learn and be all things sometimes drives others crazy wondering NOW what's she doing? hee hee ooopsie!

My natal New Moon in Libra alongside Mercury falls in my 10th house of career. Not surprising at all considering I've done MANY things in my career and still do in retirement because I can't quit all of it. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I spent the majority of my years working as a Personal Trainer, Corrective Exercise Specialist, Group Exercise Instructor and Health Coach. I've always known I had a calling to work with the body. Then when I went through my spiritual awakening, I added the mind/spirit part of the body to my repertoire. After retirement, I became a Mystic Astrologer, ThetaHealer and a Karuna Holy Fire Reiki Master. I just felt it was the piece missing from working with the body. So, again---doing, learning many things.

This brings me to my Mercury. Mercury has always been a part of my life. Since I was a little girl I kept a diary. I remember when my brother got into it and started teasing me, I literally lost my mind. I mean, how dare he read about my 6th grade crush. (I hid my key much better after that).

Writing followed me all through college where I received my degree in Organizational Speech Writing believe it or not. I did an internship in public relations at Columbus Hospital in Great Falls. What a blast! I didn't realize just how heavily I would rely on my writing abilities throughout my career. Blogging, writing programs, doing FB lives, teaching classes, speaking engagements, you name it.

And now here I am observing how it was written in the stars all along! I share this not to bore you, but to encourage you to discover more about YOU. I love how astrology is truly a blueprint of you. You simply get to create how it plays out.

A sincere thank you to all of you who made it to the Astro Blast offering on Sunday during the New Moon in Gemini. I can't tell you just how much it filled MY cup! Lately, I've been really feeling the nudge to write, share, communicate and be of service in any way I can. It's been cathartic, revolutionary, and a game changer for me.

I guess that we have to be our own best friend first and foremost. Speak kindly to ourselves as we would to others. Sometimes (especially before playing pickleball) I look in the mirror and tell myself, "I am worthy, I love you, and you are smart, kind and powerful." I know it sounds silly, but I truly feel that I play better when I do that!

I remember when I did my first mirror work exercise...I cried. It was such an emotional experience. I surprised myself with the tears. I mean, come on--I'm looking at myself, like REALLY looking myself in the eyes speaking love words to myself. It was quite a tearjerker. It made me realize just how much I DON'T speak kindly to myself. Crazy, I know.

Anywho, back to the good stuff. The zoom call opened up hearts and minds regardless of who was in the hot seat. I think everyone took something away from the night. We did card draws and a dice roll that was spot on. My cup was so full, I want to share another ASTRO BLAST opportunity this Sunday, June 21st for the Summer Solstice! Different time, same place. Hi friends,

Me again! I never used to think much about cycles, patterns, seasons or reasons. But I think about them a lot now. Being in this new season of life has really allowed me to study myself, learn more about who I am and how I operate in this world--but more than that, I've learned what it means when YOU HAVE NEPTUNE IN YOUR 11th HOUSE (11th house represents the collective, your community).

Honestly, all my life I've felt the need to serve, heal, help, teach, put any word in there similar to those and that would fit me. Neptune, as you read yesterday, is the planet of dreams...but it's also so much more. It's the planet of intuition, spirituality, truth, illusionment, delusionment, love and merging. Having Neptune in my 11th house in SCORPIO (another added layer) translates to: being a spiritual leader/teacher/healer in the taboo realms for the collective.

I love how literal astrology is. It explains ME to a tee in a nutshell. OH--and get this...my Mercury (the planet of communication) is in my 10th house of career. How do I communicate? Through written word! I mean seriously!! You can't make this stuff up. Like, I have a flipping B.S. degree in Communication for Pete's sake! Get it, B.S degree!! 💩 😂

I've kept a diary my whole life. I'm a blogger, I LOVE the written word. It's how I communicate best, I think? Hmmm...another point to ponder for a later time. 🤔 Anyhoooo....I digress. What I'm trying to get at is ASTROLOGY literally shows WHAT IT MEANS WHEN...a planet lands here, or transits there. THIS is what we're gonna dive in to on Sunday! What does it mean when????!!! Hi Friends,

When I was a little girl, and I mean LITTLE, like as far back as I can remember - I've always had dreams. In fact, sometimes I questioned whether or not they were real. And to this day, I still dream and STILL question if they are real.

One of my more vivid dreams as a child was a recurring dream about wolves with red eyes. I would look out my bedroom window and see red eyes in the trees, on the ground, in the road, everywhere. I would have this dream at least once a week forever it seemed. I didn't dare stay out after dark because I knew the wolves were there--just watching, waiting and staring. Of course, there's always safety in numbers, so me and my sibs, (there were 3 of us), would ride bikes every night until dark, then we had to come in. We knew the rule: when you're done riding, put your bike back in the shed. Big trouble if we forgot. I never forgot...

Until, one night, I forgot... and it was dark. Dad told me I still had to put my bike away and I was terrified. I just knew those wolves were out there waiting. I tried bribing my sis and my bro to do it. I offered them candy I had hidden in my top dresser drawer, but nope--no takers. So, out I went. In the dark, all alone, just me and the wolves. I've never hustled so fast to put that bike away, absolutely terrified out of my mind, looking in the trees, the bushes, the road for those red eyes. I frantically made it back to the house, have no idea how, but I made it back alive.

I was completely terrified to go to sleep that night. I just didn't want to have the dream again, ESPECIALLY since I had forgotten to put my bike away. I just had a feeling the wolves would be back haunting me in my sleep. Exhaustion kicked in and I finally drifted off to sleep. To my surprise, I never had the wolf dream again after that fated night. Isn't life funny that way? It literally took me facing my fears to make it go away. Who knew that's all I had to do?!🤷

I share this story, because Neptune is the planet of DREAMS, and my Neptune happens to square my 8th house of TRANSFORMATION, better known as the underworld. The underworld is familiar to me. I've spent plenty of time there learning life and death lessons. Pluto, who rules the 8th house also sits at the exact same degree as my core wound YEEHAW. So, I've learned MULTIPLE lessons in transforming my core wound throughout my life.

Exploring 'the Scratch' never gets old... Behold the always amazing and recognizable Sleeping Giant, Tim and his walking stick and a gorgeous Clark's Nutcracker bird.

☀️We discovered some pretty cool things and learned some stuff too. We noticed the insane number of fresh pinecones on the ground and learned that pine trees drop abnormal amounts of pinecones as a survival mechanism in direct response to severe environmental stressors. When they do this, it is known as a "mast year". I BET they are stressed. They are feeling all that we are for sure! Are YOU feeling stressed? 🤯

It's time to DE-STRESS!! Let the energy of the moon help you! The Full Moon in Sagittarius is the SECOND full moon in May and arrives Sunday May 31st at 2:44 pm (mst) at 9 degrees. If you have any planets within 2 degrees either way, you'll really be feeling this energy. What this energy 'feels' like is adventurous, joyful, fun loving, expansive, knowledge seeking and/or wanting to travel abroad. How it shows up for you is completely individualized depending on which house or life area Sag lands in.

Sooo...I got an astrology reading FOR MYSELF!!! 🤗

When I got my Mystic Astrologer certification 2 years ago, my teacher was giving practice readings to her students for a new certification she was studying for. It was very eye opening then, so today I had the opportunity to receive an updated reading from her, and it was even MORE !!

Astrology is confirmation. Astrology is reaffirming.
Astrology is relieving.

If I'm being honest, these last 3 weeks I've been in a funk, and I mean a HUGE FUNK! I literally was thinking I needed to go on antidepressants because I just couldn't shake the heaviness. Turns out, Saturn was in opposition to my Mercury (heavy thoughts). These thoughts were so heavy, I couldn't even look at my own chart to uncover the heaviness. I just brooded, sulked, and went inward. Then all of a sudden, it was like a light switch flipped. The heaviness left, the brooding stopped and the depression lifted. Saturn had moved on. Thank GOD!

What she saw next was shake ups in my physical home. (Uranus transiting my 4th house which represents HOME). Well, no kidding!! We had a fence replaced and the fence guys hit a gas line, which led to the discovery of corrosion around our 5-year-old furnace. Our sprinkler system quit working, so we called the sprinkler guys to fix it, which led to the discovery of a leak in the drip system that runs under the concrete which is under our front porch. This leak has caused the concrete to fall due to the erosion of the soil. I mean...do you want me to go on? You seriously can't make this s**t up!

The exciting piece of all that I'm sharing is:
"THIS TOO SHALL PASS"

I always know that and rely heavily on that, because it always does.

New Moon in Ta**us

Now, let's talk about MANIFESTING! Because we have a great seed planting opportunity on Saturday May 16th with the New Moon in Ta**us at 2:00 pm (mst) to plant new seeds we want to harvest 6 months from now. Ta**us energy is just simply about pleasure, slow living, and enjoying life. I, for one, will REALLY be using this manifesting energy to harness the Uranian energy hitting at home right now. WHEW!

Ta**us rules the neck, vocal cords, throat and thyroid gland. So, VOCALIZE your thoughts, dreams and aspirations. Sing, chant, do breathwork, SPEAK your manifestations into reality. Write them down and LITERALLY plant them in Mother Earth!

I'm very excited for this New Moon for all of these reasons PLUS there is a beautiful conjunction between the Moon, Mercury and Uranus assisting us in speaking up for what we want to CREATE, innovate, and/or liberate in ourselves, our lives and in our physical bodies/environment. There is also a s*xtile between the Moon and Jupiter which will EXPAND our manifestation!
