A NEW CMP PODCAST IS OUT!

In this episode, we speak with CMP's Hank Gray, who tells us more about one of the core aspects of the Civilian Marksmanship Program: education.

Gray arrived at the CMP after a long career within the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit and a full career that included national-level successes and even a few trips to the Paralympic Games as coach of Team USA.

Now, he's working to expand and improve our educational offerings through existing outlets and new initiatives already in the works. Whether a novice or expert, it's a great time to become involved in the sport!

Find this podcast through our website at https://thecmp.org/cmp-podcasts/, on our YouTube channel or wherever you get your podcasts!

A huge Congratulations to Range Master, Matt Carroll on his retirement! SCSSA will miss seeing you at CMP!

Today, we wish farewell and good luck to our own Range Master, Matt Carroll, who is officially retiring from the CMP!

Over the years, Matt has assisted our organization in a number of areas within Talladega and at our air gun range in Anniston.

He was instrumental in providing youth opportunities — cultivating monthly Rimfire Sporter Matches at Talladega and remaining active with the local Calhoun-Cleburne Hawkeyes 4-H Rifle Team and other junior activities at the air range. He was even named the Alabama 4-H Volunteer of the Year in 2021 for his contributions!

We will miss you, Matt, and we thank you for the legacy you leave behind! 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼
