June is our favorite month on Canyon Ferry!! Why??
We are glad you asked! It’s our favorite time because of a few reasons. The weather stabilizes more in June and we don’t get as drastic of water temp swings w the cold fronts. The number one biggest reason is the big fish head shallow to hunt. So capt Haldan Bjornson and myself(Capt Trevor Johnson) will take you on the milk run hunting a monster for an hour or two, then we drop deeper and get the eaters!! We still have June spots available!

Remembering, limits lineup, and pre-fillet ice bath!!

The cranking bite for eaters is still pulling strong and a great shot at a trophy for a pic! Fish will soon be headed to deeper water and it will switch to bottom bouncing and some jigging during the month of June!! We will continue to launch out of Silos recreation area for now! Or what’s most convenient FOR YOU!!
