Parents,

Lakewood Little League Football & Cheer Raffle tickets will be coming home with your athletes tomorrow. Notify us ASAP if you don’t receive them.

Things to know:

• All athletes will receive a booklet of 10 raffle tickets @ $10 each to sell. More raffle tickets will be available for any athlete who wishes to sell more!

• Athletes who sell all 10 tickets will receive a Lakewood Little League Football t-shirt.

• A pizza party will be awarded to the age group that sells the most raffle tickets!

• All tickets sold will be entered into a drawing that will take place on August 18th. Two $500 winners will be drawn. The winner does NOT have to be present at the time of drawing but please ensure all info is filled out on ticket.

• All sold and unsold tickets and collected money must be turned in during practice on August 15 at the concession stand.

Good morning,
If you know of any 5th and 6th graders parents that aren’t here yet please invite them. We are excited for this new season and plan to hit the ground running. With all the camps and fittings coming up I want every parent to be aware of any changes. I will be launching a TeamReach group soon so everyone can stay up to date. With baseball season approaching its last month we want to get ahead of everything before the season starts. If there’s any questions please reach out to us on here for now, until the TeamReach page is created.

Last night, our 3 head coaches and several assistant coaches had their first meeting to begin developing a unified approach for our athletes.

In the meeting, the coaches were registered for coaching software to have access to trainings to better educate our kids, and began planning our upcoming camps. We will be getting all other assistant coaches registered for this as well.

Our skills camp dates are listed below! Camp will be beneficial to athletes at any experience level, and can benefit your child across multiple sports. The May and June camps are 100% free for all Lakewood students K-6. You do not need to be registered in our league to attend the camp.
