Great day with the last BirdieBound Women’s Golf Academy of 2026. Our morning started at the Bea exploring full swing and short game. 🥗🌯🍽️After a tasty lunch at the Blackledge Tavern we discussed strategies to focus our attention for peak performance. And we wrapped up our day with play on Blackledge’s popular Gilead Course. ⛳️ Thank you to all the players who participated! 🙏😊

Summer official kicks off on Sunday! If you haven’t yet registered for the BirdieBound Women’s Golf Academy there are still spaces available in our July 15 Academy. Grab a friend and make it a “Girls Golf Day!” We spend the morning at the Bea lengthening our drives and perfecting our short game. A delicious lunch is served at the Tavern with a short mental skills training presentation. And we close our amazing day with 2 hours of play on the golf course. LPGA*USGA Girls Golf is back at the Bea! ⛳️ In our first clinic we learned the secret sauce for putting: 👀 over your target line and paint a line in the grass 🎨. When reading a green, aim for the high side.

Girls then played a fan favorite: putting battleship! 🐥🚢⚓️

Thank you to all the players in the first BirdieBound Women’s Golf Academy of the season. We spent the morning at the Bea fine tuning our full swings, putting, chipping, and bunker play. After a delicious lunch and mental skills presentation at the Tavern, we headed out to play. A perfect day in the sun! 🌞 ⛳️
