A lot of athletes are so focused on moving the weight up that they forget where real strength is built:
๐๐จ๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ญ ๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง.
That lowering phase is huge for building strength, stability, body control, and injury resistance.
So donโt rush it.
No bouncing.
No dropping the weight.
No sloppy reps just to say you finished.
Aim for 2 to 4 seconds on the way down and stay tight the whole time.
If you canโt control it, itโs too heavy.
Train with intent. Build strength that actually transfers.
