The 2027 Prune Packers lived up to their “assassins” moniker with ruthless precision, systematically dismantling hitters across the summer circuit. In the Championship Series they delivered a masterclass in dominance, holding the Lincoln Potters to a mere three runs across 27 flawless innings.

As a staff they posted six shutouts and twelve one-run games. Their twelfth came in Game 2 of the PEL Championship, when they limited the Potters to four hits and carved up the lineup for 12 strikeouts. That performance sealed Healdsburg’s sixth consecutive title.

The body count kept climbing: 32 times the Packers staff punched out double-digit hitters.

The motto was never just words.

The season may be over, but we’re not done looking back at a historic summer in Healdsburg!

Offensively, no other team on the West Coast came close...

The Prune Packers obliterated the baseball all summer long.

86 home runs in 45 games.
A mind blowing team slugging percentage of .575.

That’s a full scale offensive assault.

This offense ran a true fast break attack that destroyed teams in the box and on the bases. They led the circuit in nearly every offensive category, punishing anything in the zone and staying ruthlessly disciplined on spin out of it. Pitchers had nowhere to hide.
