A look back at last week for the Cougars…

Faith Russo was named player of the game in our battle against Stroudsburg. Russo had solid play on both sides of the ball and was a force inside the Cougar attack.

Brynn Newborn was the player of the game in our victory over Holy Redeemer. Newborn had the hot stick that fueled Hazleton in the game winner. Here are the stats:

Hazleton hockey’s 2nd week recipients are Junior Abby Smithnosky for the high school and 7th grade Alanna Filler for the junior high team. These two “I got your back” teammates play with all heart! They are total predators on the field♥️💪🏻

Athletes of the Week- week 1!!
Week 1 of preseason is no joke, but these two Cougs crushed it! Junior Gabby Bredbenner was selected for the high school team as Athlete of Week. 8th grader Bella Boyle was chosen for the junior high team. You can count on these two athletes to always bring the hustle, grit, and positive mindset even during the grind of preseason ♥️💪🏻
