Hazelwood Skate Park

Hazelwood Skate Park The skate park must be dry to open. The Skate Park is CLOSED on all Holidays, including the Friday after Thanksgiving. The Hazelwood Skate park is free to use.

When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the park will be closed Friday and Saturday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday the park will be closed on Sunday and Monday. The surface must be dry for the Skate Park to open. There is no attendant on duty. The risk of injury from the activity is significant, including the potential for permanent disability and death. No liability, either expressed or implied, w

ill be incurred by the City, or its employees, for any injuries arising out of the use of the facility. It is recommended to use the facility with a companion or group. Helmets may be rented from the Recreation Office for $1.00

The Recreation Office also has several accessory items for purchase such as helmets, pads, tubes, etc. The park includes an 8ft quarter pipe, 6ft half pipe, 4ft slanting up to 6 ft quarter pipe, fun box with hubba w/ down rail, 5 ft banking w/ 3 ft quarter pipe 2 boxes, 3 ft spine

Tye Hazelwood Skate Park will be closed Friday September 12th thru Monday September 15th as we host hazelwood Day on Saturday at Howdershell park.

The Hazelwood Skate Park will be CLOSED through May 20th as we are hosting an obstacle course race in the park on May 17th.

The recreations centers and the skate park will be closed tomorrow, Saturday, October 26th as we hold The Rotten Pumpkin Obstacle Course Race in Truman Park. The buildings and skate park will reopen for regular operating hours on Sunday the 27th.
