As a teen, Anthony always stayed active in sports including basketball, football, soccer, softball and track. Shortly after high school, he joined the US Army/National Guard. During his training, he discovered a passion for fitness and exercise. Anthony blossomed during boot camp and was awarded first place in their physical training test. A year later, he received additional recognition and was a
warded again as the most improved in AIT (Advanced Individual Training). After being honorably discharged from the military, he attempted to maintain the soldier like physique he had grown accustomed to but separated from the military environment that demanded daily physical training, he became stagnant and lazy . Over the next several years, Anthony's mental battles caused his weight to fluctuate and a loss of physical endurance. Then in 2011, his wife was diagnosed with Non Hodgkin's Cancer but the medical professionals were unable to explain what caused her disease. Driven by a new found hunger for understanding disease, Anthony spent countless hours researching the effects of diet and fitness. This journey in learning eventually lead him to pursue certification and in 2016, he became a certified persnoal trainer. Anthony discovered that the lack of physical activity coupled with poor eating habits can cause some of the worst ailments in people regardless of age, gender, or race! Fueled with a plethora of information and a wife fighting for her life, Anthony had discovered all the motivation he would ever need to take back control of his health.
