CrossFit Fairway Park is a community based, strength and conditioning program. We combine gymnastic elements with weightlifting and cardio elements to make one very inclusive program. We want to be good inside the gym, to help us outside the gym. The biggest most fantastic aspect of our gym is the people. Without our strong community we would not be succeeding as we are.

Age is not the reason to stop exercising… it’s the reason to keep going. 💪

Meet Dennis, 79 years young and still showing up to our 6 AM classes.

One of the biggest myths people believe is that getting older means slowing down and accepting aches, pains, weakness, and limited mobility. While aging is inevitable, losing your strength and independence doesn’t have to be.

Dennis is proof.

Because he has remained consistent with his workouts, he continues to move well, maintain his mobility, build strength, and do the things he enjoys. In this video, you’ll see him keeping up with the workout and moving with confidence.

The goal of fitness isn’t to become the strongest person in the gym. The goal is to maintain the ability to live life on your terms for as long as possible.

Being able to get up off the floor, carry groceries, climb stairs, play with grandchildren, and stay independent are some of the greatest rewards that come from consistent exercise.

Semi private training is a great option for siblings. 💪

Instead of making parents drop one child off, wait around, and then bring the next child in for their session, both kids can train together and get quality coaching at the same time. It’s more convenient for busy families and easier on everyone’s schedule.

Another benefit is that when two athletes train together, there’s a discount in price, helping parents get more value while investing in their kids’ development.

One thing we’re big on is slowing things down and teaching the fundamentals correctly. We want kids to understand why they’re doing something, not just go through the motions. Building a strong foundation now pays huge dividends later when they’re bigger, stronger, and competing at a higher level.

Whether your child plays baseball, softball, basketball, football, or simply wants to get stronger and more confident, learning the basics the right way can make all the difference.

Never skip rope climb day! 🧗‍♂️🔥

One of the biggest mistakes people make is avoiding the movements they’re not good at. The truth is, the only way to get better at rope climbs is to practice rope climbs.

The good news? There’s a version for everyone.

Some members are working on hanging from the rope. Others are practicing foot locks. Some are pulling themselves to standing, and a few are making it all the way to the top. No matter where you’re starting, every step builds strength, confidence, grip endurance, and body awareness.

You don’t have to be able to climb the rope today. You just have to be willing to start.

Show up, practice, and trust the process. One day you’ll surprise yourself with what you can do.

One of my favorite parts about owning a gym is that my son gets to spend so much time here with me.

But what makes me even happier is watching him join in and imitate all of you.

Kids are always watching. They pay attention to how we work, how we treat others, how we handle challenges, and whether or not we take care of ourselves. Every time he sees our members show up, work hard, encourage one another, and push through something difficult, he’s learning valuable lessons without even realizing it.

In this video, he’s jumping right in and doing what the other kids are doing during class. He may not realize it now, but these small moments are helping shape his confidence, work ethic, and belief in himself.

So thank you to all of our members for setting such a great example. You might think you’re just coming to the gym to get a workout in, but you’re also helping show the next generation what hard work, consistency, and community look like.

And as a dad, that means more to me than you know. ❤️

What a special night celebrating Daniel’s birthday! 🎉

Thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to come in for a workout and stay for the celebration afterward. Nights like these are a great reminder that our gym is so much more than barbells, pull up rigs, and workouts. It’s the people inside these walls that make this place special.

You guys are the heartbeat of this business, and we appreciate every one of you.

A huge shoutout goes to Coach John for organizing the event and running it from start to finish. The gym is fortunate to have someone who cares so much about bringing our community together.

And hearing that some of you stayed until nearly midnight tells me everything I need to know…you were having a great time! 😂

It’s always a great day when our members begin performing skills they couldn’t do when they first started.

In this video, you’ll see Trevor crushing his double unders after months of consistent practice. In the beginning, we had him attempt double unders during workouts while modifying the total reps to maintain the intended stimulus. Week after week, those small practice sessions added up…and now look at him go.

That’s how progress usually works in CrossFit and in life. You don’t magically wake up one day with a new skill. You struggle through it, fail through it, practice it while frustrated, and eventually your body starts figuring it out.

For those of you still struggling with jump rope movements, the best thing you can do is keep attempting them during workouts, even if you need to lower the reps. Scaled practice is still practice, and consistency always wins in the end.

Way to go, Trevor! Proud of the work you’ve been putting in. 🔥
