🏐 What is a seam in volleyball?

A seam is the space between two passers in serve receive.

This is one of the toughest balls to pass because both players may hesitate, thinking the other person is going to take it.

The best passing teams eliminate confusion by:
✅ Communicating early
✅ Calling the ball loudly
✅ Knowing who has priority in each seam
✅ Moving together as a unit

Good servers know to aim for the seams because that’s where communication is tested.

Have you ever lost a point because no one called the ball? 👇
