LOON RESCUE.We found a young loon all wrapped up in fishing line by the CC bridge on the Chippewa flowage. There was fishing line wrapped around his beak his neck and legs. When we floated by it I noticed a little line hanging under his beak. I caught the loon and brought it in my boat, minutes later we had the line off and it was swimming much more natural. We must remind ourselves not to leave fishing line in the water. Loons and ducks and other water related birds will not make it if they get wrapped up in line. Lucky for this fellow we found him in time

This week I fished with amazing little fisherman. This is Cole and he's 8 years old he caught his personal biggest walleye 23", personal biggest crappie 12 ", and personal biggest smallmouth 18 ". Good job little feller!!!
