For those attending tomorrow, here's the day's schedule!

The day starts at 9:30 a.m. with Anita’s Breakfast (Burritos, eggs, bacon, potatoes and sausage gravy) Sponsored by Keolis NA. Drinks will be available in the Grill Room (I recommend their Bloody Mary’s or Mimosa’s!). Eat, Drink, or take some time to Practice and Warm up before the start of the Tournament.
Around 10:50 players should be at their golf carts, we’ll have the rules and notes for the day, explaining the Par 3s have not only Longest Drive Men/Women, Closest to the Pin Men/Women, and 4 changes to win a STAY AND PLAY by hitting a hole in one at any of the Par 3’s!
Then we have Thomas Edison High School’s JROTC Color Guard presenting the Colors, and we’ll have a Benediction and then the National Anthem. After the Anthem, all the teams will head to their assigned holes.
This is "Captains Choice" (aka Best Ball). Throughout the day teams will constantly take the best ball to get the best score possible. NOTE SSGT STAFF WILL BE OUT ON THE COURSE SELLING MULLIGANS FOR MORE CHANCES TO BETTER YOUR SCORE!!
Lunch will be served out at the turn next to the Clubhouse throughout the day, so you can take a nice break before your final 9 holes.
The Grill Room will be open for drinks and all day we have Beverage Carts Sponsored by Applied Insight, LLC with Beer, Sodas and Water going around all day for your refreshments.
At the end of the day, we will be in the Awards Banquet room with the Buffet. We have items from Washington Sport Teams will be available along with local artists, local grown peppers that you can buy. Michael Greenhall who’s living with MS will be presenting some of his art for sale as well.
We have some great prizes brought to you by Laporta’s Restaurant, Perry Warren of Frizzles Hair Salon and more for 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winning Teams.

Today is September 1. This is the 5th year anniversary of losing Scotty to MS.

This year we’ve added Golf Shirts for sale, and no only the Longest Drive and Closest to the pin awards, we have 5 hole in one chances for Stay and Plays in Hawaii, Sawgrass and the like! Just check out the website while you’re going in to register!

This is how Scotty Seymour faced living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) before we lost him in 2016 due to MS related complications. MS organizations have estimated that 2.3 million people are living with MS worldwide. Not everyone living with MS has the same outlook as Scotty, but with the help of the MS Navigators Program, the Scott Seymour Golf Tournament (SSGT) strives to change that.

SSGT is dedicated to supporting individuals living with MS through direct assistance, support & resources. Since 2017 SSGT has raised tens of thousands of dollars for the National MS Societies MS Navigators Program!

2021 promises to be an exciting year for the Scott Seymour Golf Tournament:

The 2021 SSGT is scheduled for Monday, September 13, 2021 at Evergreen Country Club in Haymarket, VA
SSGT’s Board of Directors set a 2021 contribution goal of $20,000.00
WE NEED YOUR HELP! We need sponsorships TODAY! Our Sponsors are a vital part of the overall mission to create an event to not only honor Scotty, but to tribute those living with MS, and raise as much money as possible for the National MS Society. Volunteers this year are being asked to reach out to their networks for the larger corporate sponsors that can sponsor; the Event, Parts of the Event, Lunch, Breakfast, Teams, Holes, or any large donation items. Also, if you learn or know of someone living with MS, get their permission to use their name at the event on a hole to show our support for them personally in their fight.
