Here we go! Tryouts will be here next week! Consider this thread your opportunity to ask ANY question that you may have. I’ll get us started
Q - When are tryouts?
A - Tryouts run Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday immediately after school until 5pm.
Q - Can parents watch tryouts?
A - NO. There is not enough room.
Q - What will tryouts look like?
A - Monday will be skill and mechanics teaching and practicing. Tuesday and Wednesday will be competing.
Q - How many athletes make the team?
A - JV will consist of up to 12 sixth and seventh graders. Varsity will consist of the 10 best across all three grade levels. Yes, sixth graders can make varsity.
Q - What is needed for tryouts?
A - You MUST have an approved physical in Arbiter - nonnegotiable. After that, athletic shorts or spandex, court/tennis shoes, tshirt, water. Knee pads are not required (they are only used to clean up spills and wipe the bottom of your shoes🤪)

We are under a week til tryouts start! Please make sure you register through arbiter and get that physical approved!! If you want to confirm, please email coach or check with him at school. Nothing worse than missing out on an opportunity because you didn’t confirm your eligibility.
