We have afternoon practices, Monday-Friday, until school lets out, and then we shift to morning practices. Exact times will be determined based on the number of kids we get as that will determine how many sessions we'll have each day. We will have 5 dual meets on Saturdays in June and July (we take the weekend nearest July 4th off) and we have a season-ending, two day All-Stars competition July 23
and 24. Three of the dual meets will be at Evergreen this year, with the other two at Hidden Creek CC and Mount Vernon CC. Our team is on the smaller side and it is just as much of a social event for the parents as it is for the kids. Aside from practicing and meets, we also have a series of weekday outings for the team (historic examples include King's Dominion, paintball, bowling, pottery, escape rooms, etc.) We have been pretty good the last few years and hope to continue to be so this year, but the team is comprised of ALL TYPES of swimmers. We focus on inclusiveness and fun, and can assure that no matter what level of swimmers you have now, each of your kids will be much improved by the time the season wraps up. We are always excited to welcome new families - we are a family-friendly group and the parents wind up spending just as much time with one another as the kids do.
