📢 Hiring for a Flexible Equestrian Position in Haymarket, VA!

A Training Vision is looking for barn help on weekday mornings – easy barn, lovely people, polite horses. For the right person, this could also include riding and teaching. ATV is a top-notch program with a laid-back atmosphere, minutes off I-66 and Rt. 15. This position comes with all the perks: competitive pay, mentorship, and to be an essential member of a wonderful barn family.

Barn care includes…
•Weekday mornings, morning chores and riding are usually done by 12:30 PM. Enjoy a light Thursday—our barn is closed for riding.
•Morning barn chores include feeding, minimal stalls (only three horses live in), turnout, watering, blanketing, tacking, and general barn upkeep.

What we need from you…
•Some barn experience preferred, but a great attitude and willingness to learn goes a long way.
•Reliable, detail-oriented, and passionate about horse care.
•Looking to grow your skills in barn management, dressage, and horsemanship while working in a positive and collaborative environment.

We’re seeking barn help, with hopes of finding the right person to take on a full barn manager/assistant trainer role. This position could be a rising professional looking for mentorship while doing an easy barn gig, a working student learning the dressage ropes, a barn manager-type who wants to care for nice horses owned by great people, or anyone in between. For this person, benefits could include all from above and an option to board one horse, on-site housing, and/or showing (prior assistants earned bronze and silver medals on our horses).

Expanded role could include any of the following…
•Weekend shifts and/or evening chores (a quick 30-minute task)
•Teaching training clients and school horse lessons
•Riding

Whether you’re seeking a smaller commitment or you are a career equestrian, this opportunity could be made to fit you! We’d love to hear from you, email or PM a brief description of your experience and contact information.

📢 Hiring Evening and Weekend Barn Help in Haymarket, VA!

We’re looking for a reliable person to help with evening and weekend chores at our dressage training and school horse lesson program. Chores take less than an hour and include feed, hay, water, turnout, and blanketing. Our 16-horse facility has a relaxed, supportive environment and minimal stall cleaning, as most horses live out 24/7. Compensation is based on experience.

Growth Opportunities:
👉🏻Teaching: New hire could teach evening and weekend school horse lessons for candidates with dressage and teaching experience.
👉🏻Mentorship: Learn from USDF Gold Medalist Ampara Visser and train on FEI schoolmasters, with options for lessons as part of compensation.

For the right candidate, this role could expand to a live-in assistant trainer position with room for one horse.

Interested? 📥 PM us or email [email protected].
