Congratulations to all shooters who participated in the 2026 Winter League. It was a great season and every participant is to be congratulated!! See you all again next year.

The ATA Spring Shoot that was held on Sunday, April 26th was well attended with nearly 80 shooters. The weather was threatening for a little while, but it was mostly cooperative! 672 rounds of singles, handicap and doubles were thrown in just one day!

We look forward to the next sanctioned ATA shoot, July 25 and 26th. Watch for more details to come!

Hayden Longshot medal winners (and coaches Rhonda Harvitt and Michelle Thurman) from the Idaho Youth State Championships held May 14-16th

This event was crazy!! We had 150 youth shooters from all over the state of Idaho. The youth shot 100 targets at Landt Farms Sporting Clays and 75 s***t targets and 100 trap targets at our Club. The weather was not our friend but everyone forged on bravely and made the best of the wind and rain and cold. This event took many man hours from Roger, our dedicated volunteers, the volunteers on a state level that coordinated the event and all the coaches and parents. Thank you to everyone. Its wonderful to witness the dedication to the sport that these amazing youth shooters demonstrated.

Thank You!

Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers that made the Spring ATA Trap Shoot a huge success.

Coeur d’Alene S***t and Trap club hosted 80 shooters for an ATA sanctioned shoot on Sunday, April 26. This event would not be possible without the help of many outstanding volunteers.

Weeks before the shoot these exceptional volunteers are organizing event logistics, maintaining equipment, preparing the grounds and camp spots, cleaning the fields, ordering awards. Two days before the shoot fields are mowed and cleaned again, birds are loaded into the houses, food and supplies are purchased, and the club house is prepared to greet and register all shooters.

The day of the event these volunteers work together as a team, tirelessly for 12 hours, registering all participants, providing a practice field, expertly scoring 672 rounds of singles, handicap and doubles. (WOW!) Keeping houses loaded and operating without incident, cleaning fields, providing morning coffee and donuts, BBQ lunch, handing out awards, running score cards, managing trash, and providing an excellent overall experience for all, again only possible because of these dedicated volunteers.

Who are these wonderful, awesome volunteers? The phenomenal volunteers are:
Gale Akers, Russ, Clay, Jack, & Karla Grant; Matt, Becky, Jim, Claire, Joe, & Stephanie Pestarino; Ellen Ziegler, Rick Inouye, Jeremy, & Wendy Brondt; Mike Zaidlicz, Tom Bosenko, Matt Powers, Brian, & Parker Martin.

Thank you to each and every one of you and the people that support your passion for shooting. These events are truly only possible because of the dedication of volunteers. Volunteers, please know that we are all grateful for your commitment. One last time, THANK YOU!!!!!
