📍 Location: Hayden Main Park
Off Honeysuckle Ave. and Government Way in Hayden (right behind Rancho Viejo).

Thank you to all of the coaches, players, parents, and staff for making yesterday's tryouts a tremendous success.

The day was well organized, focused on what matters most—baseball player development—and ran right on schedule from start to finish. That doesn't happen without the commitment, teamwork, and professionalism of everyone involved.

We're excited about the future of First & Third Marucci Prospects and can't wait to begin building something special with this next group of players. Thank you all for your time, energy, and support. The future is bright!

It started with a simple vision...Today, we're excited to share the next chapter.

A home for the Idaho Marucci Prospects!

We're in the final stages of bringing a 3-field, all-turf baseball and softball complex to North Idaho.
✅ Land secured
✅ Just 7 minutes from our current facility
✅ Funding nearly complete
🎯 Target groundbreaking: Fall 2026
🏟️ Target opening: Summer 2027 / Spring 2028

Best part...This isn't just for First & Third.
It's for Little League. Travel baseball. High school baseball. Softball. Every athlete. Every family. Every organization that believes North Idaho deserves a first-class place to compete.
We've already begun conversations with organizations like Perfect Game, Top Tier, and other tournament leaders who are excited about bringing premier events to our community.
This project is about more than baseball fields.
It's about creating opportunities, strengthening our community, and building a destination that athletes and families will enjoy for generations.

We’re just ONE WEEK AWAY from welcoming athletes and families to Marucci Prospects Idaho x First & Third Baseball Academy tryouts, and we couldn’t be more excited to see each of you showcase your talent.

What to expect:
⚾ Meet our coaching staff across every age division.
🕒 Arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled tryout time to check in and get ready.
✅ Bring all of your baseball gear—and most importantly, bring your heart, your hustle, your talent, and your energy.

This is what makes the Marucci Prospects partnership so special.

The Marucci World Series isn't open to everyone. It's an invite-only event featuring the top Marucci Franchise Clubs from across the country, competing on some of the biggest stages in amateur baseball—including Alex Box Stadium at LSU.

Beginning in 2027, our vision is to have First & Third Marucci Prospects representing Idaho at this national event.

For our players, this means: ⚾ Elite national competition ⚾ Exposure to college coaches ⚾ Access to the Marucci player development pathway ⚾ Opportunities that have never been more accessible for Idaho baseball

🚨 BIG NEWS! 🚨

We're excited to welcome Troy Shepard to the First & Third family!

Troy brings an incredible playing résumé to our pitching program, including stops at Coeur d'Alene High School, Spokane Falls Community College, Washington State, and Southern Illinois University. Along the way, he earned multiple collegiate honors, set Spokane Falls' single-season strikeout record with 109 strikeouts, finished second all-time in career strikeouts, earned All-MVC honors, and even took a no-hitter into the ninth inning during his final collegiate season.

More importantly, Troy has a passion for developing young athletes and is committed to helping pitchers improve their mechanics, confidence, and understanding of the game.

For years, one of the biggest challenges for Idaho baseball players has been geography. The talent has always been here. The exposure hasn't.

That's why our partnership with Marucci Prospects is such a game changer.

Our players are no longer developing in isolation—they're becoming part of a national network of coaches, instructors, and baseball leaders who are committed to helping athletes reach the next level.

Through the Marucci Prospects organization, our players gain access to resources, relationships, and opportunities that simply weren't available before.

Our players will have the opportunity to be developed, evaluated, and connected by people who do this every day at the highest level.
