First day of our drill team competition was a success! Everyone stayed in the saddle and we had a great time with our teammates and equine partners. Our first drill of the day in the Compulsory division had a few hiccups but having a loose horse running around the show grounds while you are trying to concentrate on your drill maneuvers can have that effect unfortunately. Our other two drills went so smoothly though and I am so proud of this team! We only have one class to ride today and I know we will be great!! Thank you to everyone who came out to see us ride yesterday it really means so much to us! Hope to see some of yall today as well. 😁

WE ARE LOOKING FOR MORE RIDERS TO JOIN OUR TEAM!!! Tryouts will be held on July 30 at 6:00pm The Dark Horse Arena, open to all riders, bring your horse and come have some fun with us!

Are you ready to unleash your inner cowboy or cowgirl and ride with a team of fellow horse enthusiasts who are equally passionate about not falling off their horses? Do you own a horse, an abundance of energy, and a vehicle that's willing to haul your equine buddy around, and are you itching to compete in a few statewide competitions that will push you to new heights of horsemanship (four times a year, because nobody likes a burnout)? We're on the hunt for talented riders who are eager to learn, grow, and thrive alongside fellow horse lovers through weekly practice sessions in the Hawthorne area.
However, we are open to other riding facilities in the north Florida area if you know of one available.
 There is no age limit to join us, we currently range in age from 14-65. No prior experience in western riding or drill teams is required, just a deep-seated need to ride our money devouring besties , team camaraderie, and the pursuit of not getting thrown off a horse. We are currently riding in the novice division at the walk/trot only. Once we are confident and ready as a team we can move up to the open division and add some cantering moves. Super fun and low key i promise.
