Important Community Update:
Setting the Record Straight and Moving Forward Together-
As many of you know, our community sports organization has recently faced some internal challenges. During a transition like this, misinformation can spread quickly. We sincerely apologize for the confusion this has caused. To prevent further negativity, we want to address the situation directly, share our exact intentions moving forward, and refocus on what matters most: the kids.
Recently, there was an unauthorized attempt by certain individuals to overthrow our current board of directors. To protect the organization, our assets, and our athletes, we stood our ground and took immediate action by seeking legal counsel. While we are still actively working through this situation, we are being strictly guided by our legal team. We will not participate in any drama, arguing, or back-and-forth on social media. However, we understand your concerns and are entirely open to communication. If you have questions, please reach out to us directly. We are open to suggestions, and we are willing to appropriately explain situations where the public may not have the actual facts. We will always answer to the best of our abilities as allowed by our legal counsel.
While we welcome constructive criticism and genuine concerns, we are not willing to entertain personal opinions or attacks on any of our volunteers. Every single member of our board has the absolute best intentions for these children. We are all community members doing the best we can, and we will firmly defend our volunteers based on their good intentions. We hope everyone can look past personal emotions and feelings, see the bigger picture, and focus on what is best for the kids and the program.
If anyone feels compelled to get involved and make changes, you are welcome to do so—but it must be done the proper way, through the right channels, and under the bylaws set forth when this organization was formed.
Our Intentions Moving Forward-
Our primary goal has not changed: Yes, we are absolutely having an upcoming season for all of our hosted sports! We are actively regrouping, making positive structural changes, and letting God guide our path forward to build a stronger league.
To make this season a success, we need to focus on a few core principles:
Community Participation: As a small community, we rely entirely on each other. We need the numbers to successfully fulfill our rosters and meet the needs of our teams. Every single player and family is vital.
Zero Animosity: We hold absolutely no animosity toward anyone who has chosen to leave or step away. Our doors remain open, and our focus is entirely on welcoming new or past players and volunteers.
Growing Together: We want our children to grow up playing ball together. Every player has strong points and weak points. Being a team player means helping others where they lack and learning from what they have to give.
Adults Setting the Example: We expect our parents, spectators, and entire organization to operate exactly how we expect the kids to behave during games and practices. We must learn to get along and model true teamwork.
We hope you all come to be involved and take part in molding these young athletes.
