A huge congratulations to the Kevin Barry’s on capturing their first USGAA National Championship in 19 years! What an incredible achievement for the entire Barry’s club. 👏
We’re especially proud of our GGC alumni Eoin Regan, Micheal Glennon and Haydn Scullion, along with Coach Ryan McCrystall, who helped make it happen.
Eoin scoring the winning goal, Micheal playing like a man possessed, and Haydn doing whatever needed to be done — it was pretty special for us at Glenside to watch players who grew up in our club continue their Gaelic football journey and make such an impact on the biggest stage. ☘️
That’s what youth Gaelic games are all about — giving kids a place to learn the game, love the game, and hopefully keep playing long after their youth-club days are over. We couldn’t be prouder to see that happening.
And a special shoutout to Fionn Regan, Liam Connaghan, Eamon Lynskey, Seamus Frayne and Mick Frayne — Barry’s players and GGC alumni who helped get them there but who couldn’t make the trip to the Finals because of school commitments. We know their hearts were with their teammates every step of the way.
With so many Barry's players, alumni and families connected to Glenside, we couldn't be happier for this club and team!
Especially our 1st Gentleman, Lexie O’Neill and all our coaches who once played for the Barry’s.
